Karen S Johnson is member of the Cape Coral and Fort Myers Art Leaque and has worked with many mediums but once she picked up a brush and put oil paint to canvas she knew that was it for her. Shortly after, on a whim, she entered a art show and won the Best of Show ribbon and then went on to win many more.

She left her 30 year career as a hair stylist and moved to Florida from Illinios to work as a full time artist. She currently paints out of her home studio in Cape Coral. You can find Karen doing art shows in the cooler months and in the heat of summer she's working on more paintings for upcoming shows or commission paintings. Some of those commissions include pets, homes, landscapes and still life. A commission painting makes a unique one of a kind gift for a loved one or for your own collection.
